Ms. Natasha Garcia has served within the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) Office of Inspector General (OIG) since 2019. She assumed the Assistant Inspector General for Operations role in 2024. She is responsible for leading the Operations Division, which is charged with planning, directing, and overseeing projects designed to have an impact on agency policies, programs, and operations to include oversight and production of the Semiannual Report to Congress, annual statement of Management Opportunities and Performance Challenges, internal periodic risk assessments, annual work plans and the OIG Strategic Plan. 

Prior to joining the AOC OIG, Natasha served for six years with the House Committee on Appropriations Surveys and Investigations Division as a staff assistant conducting studies and evaluations in support of federal appropriations and congressional oversight processes. She oversaw all aspects of report development to include research scope, design of data collection tools, analysis and evaluation of budgets, programs, and organizational policies in response to congressional inquiries. She also served for five years at the Department of Education Office of Innovation and Improvement managing multimillion dollar grant portfolios and supporting management and program effectiveness and efficiency. 

Natasha has breadth and depth of experience in data analytics, policy development, report design, and measuring internal effectiveness tools. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and resides in Maryland with her family.
