Ms. Erica Wardley has been the Architect of the Capitol Office of Inspector General Assistant Inspector General for Audits since 2019. Erica previously served with the Export-Import Bank (EXIM) of the United States Office of Inspector General as the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Audits and Evaluations. At EXIM OIG, Erica directed audits and evaluations of programs and operations to promote efficiency and effectiveness. Prior to joining EXIM OIG in 2014, Erica served for five years at the Department of Treasury Office of Inspector General and eleven years with other federal inspectors general and public accounting firms. Erica has managed and led multi-billion dollar complex performance audits, served as the contracting officer representative for several multimillion dollar contracts, and conducted financial statement audits for federal agencies, local governments, and Fortune 500 companies. Erica holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bowie State University and resides in Maryland with her family.
